.What People Are Saying:.
Cindys ability to reach audience members of all ages is profoundly touching. Our Center is dedicated to transmitting Jewish values and traditions, and I think that Cindys performance was a perfect embodiment of that mission.
Beatrice Ellis
Cultural Arts Director,
JCC of Greater Kansas City
Cindys Chanukah concert has consistantly been the most well attended family event we have sponsored in all my years at the JCC. Her music is upbeat and fun and has the whole audience
rockin in the aisles!

The Mac and the Bees presentation was fabulous! The Shpieler Troupes perfect blend of music, magic and whimsy makes heroes, holidays and history come alive for young and old alike. Your energy and creativity enchant and educate. Our community loves you!
Debby Singer, Director of Education,
Pasadena Jewish Temple, CA
Cindys singing is definitely a significant part of the appeal for most of the women. I call this prayer in the key of women says Mollie Wine. I like the energy of praying with other women in a key in which I can express myself. (Re: Lev Eisha, an innovative Shabbat service for women)

.There are a variety of ways to bring Cindy Paley to your Community:.
Childrens Concerts -
Building on her amazing repertoire, Cindy weaves songs, stories and fun into a unique and delightful musical event, tailored for your communitys particular interests. Added recently is Zing Along, a lively performance of Yiddish songs. This show was created in conjunction with Yiddishkayt Los Angeles, and the Yablon Cultural Foundation in the hopes that the richness of the Yiddish language will reach a new generation of children.
Holiday Shows For Children -
Along with a variety of talented Jewish performing artists, Cindy has created a series of two-person holiday themed shows for children and their families. Each show is a miniature stage production with story-telling surprises, costumes, songs, humor and audience participation. Shows include Chanukah, Purim, Pesach, Israeli Independence, and a general holiday review..
Lev Eisha -.
Lev Eisha is creative prayer service for women led by Rabbi Toba August & cantorial soloist, Cindy Paley. Lev Eisha is an exciting, innovative Shabbat service for women that offers a warm welcoming environment for women seeking to connect with their Judaism - as women. The service provides a spiritual place for women of all ages and affiliation to come together in song, prayer, study, dance and meditation.
Lev Eisha happens the first Saturday of every month at ADAT SHALOM in Westwood, CA, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm.

The Shpieler Troupe presents "Mac & the Bees" -
Founded in 1989, the Shpieler troupe is a four-person musical theatre production for ages 4 to 104! Join The Shpieler Troupe as they battle the confusion of the winter holiday season by better understanding the real story behind Chanukah, the Festival of Lights. With a little magic and lots of humor, the Troupe provides an hour of music theatre that will open your hearts and your imagination, inspiring feelings to last a lifetime.
Adult Performances -
With a gift for languages and a love of Jewish culture, Cindy brings to her concerts a rich repertoire of both contemporary and traditional music. Cindy combines performance with audience singing to present the folksongs of Eastern Europe, love songs from Sephardic Spain and the exuberant melodies of modern Israel and contemporary American Judaism.
Tefillah -
Drawing from the exciting new liturgical music of today, Cindy has enriched womens services, bar/bat mitzvah ceremonies and family tefillot, both at the synagogue and in camp settings.
Workshops for Teachers -
Classroom teachers benefit greatly from Cindys twenty-five years in school and camp settings. Her workshops encourage teachers and counselors to utilize songs to enhance curriculum, develop language skills, transmit values and improve group dynamics. Workshop titles include: Weaving Israeli Songs into your Curriculum, Early Childhood Music that Works, Treasury of Yiddish Folksongs for the Classroom, New Music for Creative Prayer Services and Successful Techniques for Songleading. |
